Your email address and name are requested when you purchase a solutions documents.  We require these details in order to confirm the payment and send you the downloadable file.  Those details are deleted from our servers after 28 days. You can request for them to be deleted sooner by sending a message via our facebook page (www.facebook.com/somewhere2escape)

When paying for the solutions or when using Buy Me A Coffee, the PayPal payment platform will also save your details as standard PayPal practice.

We will retain this information for business purposes only and in compliance with GDPR legislation.

Security and Access

Your data is always kept securely on our server and protected from improper use.

Only the Somewhere 2 Escape team and our service providers have access to your data and they enter into an agreement to confirm that they comply with data security. 

Sharing Your Data

Your personal data will never be passed to any third party though we do use third party companies to provide our system.

Our website is hosted by Dreamhost. The system is built using WordPress and WooCommerce. Paypal is responsible for processing the payments.  

Cookies

Our games require local cookies to work properly. So for instance, when you unlock a room a local cookie is stored on your browser for 2 days which means you shouldn’t need to open that room again with a password. They are also used to open different parts of the game as it progresses.

We use google analytics to understand how many people are using our website and when.
